Animal Care Apprenticeships

Helping young people pursue a career in animal care

Our brand new apprenticeship project gives young people from disadvantaged backrounds the opportunity to gain a meaningful qualification and work experience, at one of our animal centres.

Many of the teenagers that complete our programmes, such as Paws 4 Change or Breaking the Chain, find themselves wanting to do more to help animals.

An apprenticeship gives them the opportunity to make positive change to their own life and the lives of animals.

My vision is to have an apprentice from a disadvantaged background in every RSPCA animal centre. That's how important I believe this new project could be.
