Alfie came into our care due to welfare concerns in his previous home where his owners were sadly no longer able to look after him.
Since arriving at the centre Alfie has found the cattery environment quite stressful. He often retreats to a quiet hiding spot in his pen preferring to keep his distance from staff however with lots of time, patience (and a few Dreamies) Alfie is slowly beginning to come out of his shell. Recently he’s even started to approach staff for a little fuss now and then!
Alfie is looking for a calm and understanding home with patient owners who can offer him the time and space he needs to settle in at his own pace. While he may grow more affectionate as his confidence builds, we ask that any affection be seen as a bonus rather than an expectation.
