The Big Give Back to Animals
If an animal has ever given you love, comfort or joy, this is your moment to give back. Together, we can help more animals facing abandonment and neglect to survive and heal. Let’s give them a second chance at a happy life this winter.

Reports of animal neglect are up 26%*
Right now, more animals are being abandoned without food or water, left to suffer in pain. Every 10 minutes we get another call about an abandoned animal*. But when you give back, you join the rescue and become part of our team taking action.
Because of you, dogs like Nova (pictured above) are brought to safety. You’re alongside our rescuer driving out to a starving dog locked in a crate. You’re beside the vet treating a cat in terrible pain, guiding them from trauma into relief. You’re with the care assistant whose gentle patience helps frightened animals recover, giving them the second chance, love and safety they deserve.
*The RSPCA’s Wilberforce database. Based on incidents of neglect reported to the RSPCA, between Jan 2025 and Dec 2025. Every 10 minutes refers to a typical 12-hour day.
Help us reach our winter goal
The RSPCA is one of only a few organisations that rescues animals from the worst cases of neglect. As a charity, we are independent of government. We rely on public donations to reach animals in desperate need. With the rise in neglect, our teams are stretched and our centres are under growing pressure. Will you help us save more animals this winter?

See the difference your donations make
Your support saves lives: animals like Nova, who survived against all odds, sweet siblings Dante and Beatrice, and Fendi, who learned to trust people again.
Your gift will save lives
Rescue efforts, veterinary treatment, specialist behavioural training, and everyday care – it’s all possible thanks to the support of our donors. When you donate, you become a vital part of our mission and help us save thousands of animals in need. Every pound and penny you give goes towards creating a better world for every animal.

We all have a part to play
Together, we can turn our love of animals into life-saving rescues and reach those in desperate need. Our Vice President, Steve Backshall MBE, came to visit some rescued animals in our care and see their amazing transformation at first hand.
Seeing the incredible resilience of these animals filled me with hope. Their capacity to trust and love again is nothing short of a miracle.
