Before you get started
Items you will need
- An apple
- Sunflower seeds
- Apple corer or other tool

Instructions
Make your seeded apple
Make a hole through the apple
Cut a hole through the apple
Ask an adult for help to cut a hole through your apple, removing the core.
You can use an apple corer or another sharp tool to create a hole.

Add seeds to the apple
Take the pointy end of sunflower seeds and pierce them into the apple.
Using the seeds, you could draw a picture or write a word!

Hang the apple
Hang the apple in an open space where birds are likely to feel safe (somewhere away from cats!).
Make sure there’s a branch nearby for birds to stand on while they eat.
