Carrying out your activity
Making the most of your educational visit
Check the venue beforehand to make sure animals have plenty of space and look healthy.
If there's an opportunity, let them get involved with everyday care like feeding or cleaning.
Behaviour spotting
Spend some time watching the farmed animals together.
What are they doing? Tick the behaviours you spot on your activity sheet.
Top tip: focus on everyday topics like companionship, food and water for younger children.
