A good life means having the freedom to choose. Help your child assess animal welfare by asking two simple questions when you are out and about:

"How much choice does that animal have? And is that fair?"

Opportunities you might encounter:

  • Handling Events: Are the animals free to walk away and hide, or are they crowded?

  • Shared Spaces: Look at local parks or community areas. Has human activity left a safe home for wildlife?
